Our program has encountered many women who are dealing with drug addiction, while pregnant or having to care for children. Women addicts are on the rise and majority of them parental responsibilities and lack of familial and community support.
KIF currently has a special program that caters to newborns and children of mothers receiving care through the outpatient program. Pregnant women receive prenatal and trauma-informed care. Our program currently offers the following services:
- Newborn and childcare services
- Family counseling
- Adoption opportunities
- Educational/training support
